Mexican Chili Jam

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup red, green and yellow capsicums juliennes
  • ½ cup Vinegar
  • 2 finely chopped red chillies
  • 4 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp honey

HOW TO PREPARE MEXICAN CHILI JAM

  1. 1

    In a sauce pan add the julienned capsicums and vinegar
  2. 2

    Cook till tender
  3. 3

    Add chopped red chillies and cook for 2 to 3 minutes
  4. 4

    Add sugar and cook on a low flame till sugar is caramelised
  5. 5

    Put off the flame and add honey to the mixture
  6. 6

    Mix well
  7. 7

    Store the chilli jam in a glass bottle
  8. 8

    Use as required
