  • ½ cup gram flour
  • ½ cup Wheat flour
  • 2 tbsp hot oil
  • 1 cup fenugreek leaves
  • 1 cup fenugreek leaves dried
  • 1 tbsp cumin seeds
  • salt
  • water
  • oil for frying

PREPARATION

  1. 1

In a bowl mix refined flour, gram flour, and wheat flour. Mix well then add hot oil and chopped fenugreek leaves. In a pan, dry roast dry fenugreek leaves and cumin seeds. Add them to the flour mixture. Mix well and add salt. Make a dough by adding water. Heat oil for frying. Dust wheat flour on the kitchen platform and roll out a big roti. The roti should be a bit thick for the puris. With a ring cutter, make 2 to 3 small puris from the roti and remove the extra dough. Deep fry puris until golden brown. Drain excess oil with a tissue paper. Transfer methi puris in the serving plate or casserole.
