INGREDIENTS

  • ½ cup refined flour; ½ cup gram flour; ½ cup Wheat flour; 2 tbsp hot oil; 1 cup fenugreek leaves; 1 cup fenugreek leaves dried; 1 tbsp cumin seeds; salt; water; oil for frying

HOW TO PREPARE METHI KI PURI

    In a bowl mix refined flour, gram flour, and wheat flour.

    ; Mix well then add hot oil and chopped fenugreek leaves.

    ; In a pan, dry roast dry fenugreek leaves and cumin seeds.

    ; Add them to the flour mixture.
  5. 5

    ; Mix well and add salt.

    ; Make a dough by adding water.

    ; Heat oil for frying.

    ; Dust wheat flour on the kitchen platform and roll out a big roti.

    ; The roti should be a bit thick for the puris.

    ; With a ring cutter, make 2 to 3 small puris from the roti and remove the extra dough.

    ; Deep fry puris until golden brown.

    ; Drain excess oil with a tissue paper.

    ; Transfer methi puris in the serving plate or casserole.
