INGREDIENTS

  • ½ bunch fresh fenugreek leaves
  • 2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1 tsp ajwain
  • 2 tsp ghee
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • ½ inch ginger
  • grated
  • Wheat flour for dusting
  • ½ tsp ghee
  • salt to taste
  • water as required
  • Curd

HOW TO PREPARE METHI KE PARATHE

    Take wheat flour in a bowl.
  2. 2

    Finely chop the fenugreek leaves and mix the chopped leaves with the flour.
  3. 3

    Add salt, ajwain, ghee, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and grated ginger.
  4. 4

    Mix well by pouring water.
  5. 5

    Mix it with hand till it forms a dough.
  6. 6

    Make small balls with the dough.
  7. 7

    Dust it with the flour.
  8. 8

    Flatten it using a roller into a round shape.
  9. 9

    Heat the pan and place the paratha on the hot pan.
  10. 10

    Sprinkle a little ghee on the sides of the paratha.
  11. 11

    Serve the hot parathas with curd.
