  • 2 sticks cinnamon
  • 2 cups sugar
  • water
  • 1 tbsp ghee
  • 1 cup rice
  • 1 tbsp saffron water
  • almonds
  • pistachios


  1. 1

    In a pan heat water and add cinnamon sticks, ghee, rice.
  2. 2

    Remove the water from the rice when its 90% done and put it back in the pan.
  3. 3

    In another pan make sugar syrup and add saffron wate and mix.
  4. 4

    Add sugar syrup in the rice.
  5. 5

    Cover pan and let it cook.
  6. 6

    Add ghee and mix.
  7. 7

    Pour the sugar syrup and crushed almonds, pistachios on rice and seve hot.
