INGREDIENTS

  • 250 gm mutton, minced
  • 2 tsp green chillies, chopped
  • 1 tsp parsley, chopped
  • 2 tbsp onions, chopped
  • 1 tsp jalapenos, chopped
  • 1 tbsp tomato sauce, Black pepper powder to taste
  • ½ cup bread crumbs
  • ½ egg, Salt to taste
  • FOR orange sauce
  • ¼ cup orange juice
  • 2 tbsp orange marmalade
  • Black pepper powder
  • ¼ tsp red chilli flakes
  • ¼ tsp corn flour
  • 200 gm feta cheese
  • 3 - 4 tbsp oil
  • FOR garnish
  • parsley chopped

HOW TO PREPARE MEAT BALLS WITH ORANGE GLAZE

    To a bowl of minced mutton, add chopped green chillies, finely chopped parsley, finely chopped garlic, chopped onions, chopped jalapenos, tomato sauce, black pepper powder, salt, fresh bread crumbs and egg.

    Mix well and freeze the mixture for 30 minutes.

    Prepare the orange sauce by mixing orange juice, orange marmalade, salt, black pepper powder and red chilli flakes.

    To make it more thick and glossy add corn slurry (a mix corn powder with water).

    The orange sauce is ready.

    Cut feta cheese in small cubes and set them aside.
  7. 7

    Make small roundels of the meat mixture and flatten them on your palm.

    Place the feta cheese cube on it and make a ball.

    Repeat for the meat balls.

    Heat oil in a pan and fry the balls in medium hot oil and cook them on a low flame till done.

    Add the prepared sauce and toss the meat ball.
  12. 12

    Garnish with chopped parsley and plate them with orange sauce.
