INGREDIENTS

  • 100 gm refined flour
  • 1/2 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tbsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tbsp corn flour
  • 100 gm salted butter
  • 100 gm of powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp kaju - badam powder
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 100 gm grated mawa
  • 1/2 tbsp vanilla essence
  • 1/4 tbsp cardamom powder
  • saffron strands
  • 1 tbsp Curd
  • 1 tbsp dry apricots
  • 1 tbsp prunes
  • For garnish
  • icing sugar
  • pistachio
  • roasted almond flakes
  • saffron strands
  • mint

PREPARATION

    Preheat a pressure cooker.
  2. 2

    In a bowl, add refined flour, baking powder, baking soda, corn flour and mix it well.
  3. 3

    Add butter, icing sugar, Kaju - badam powder and mix.
  4. 4

    Add milk and whisk it. Add grated mawa and mix it again.
  5. 5

    Add vanilla essence, cardamom powder, saffron strands, dry apricots, prunes and mix it well.

    Add curd and mix it well.

    Pour the batter in the baking tin and spread it all over and let it bake for 30 minutes.

    Garnish with icing sugar, pistachio, roasted almond flakes, saffron strands, mint leaves and serve.
