  • 1 tomato
  • 1 green chilli
  • 1 tsp garlic
  • 1 cup boiled split red lentils
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 2 to 3 tbsp bread crumbs
  • powdered black pepper
  • All purpose flour as required
  • oil for frying
  • salt
  • For Burger Bun :1 tbsp butter
  • 1 burger bun
  • 1 tomato
  • 1 onion
  • mint chutney
  • For Garnish: Tomato sauce

HOW TO PREPARE MASOOR TIKKI BURGER

    In a deep bowl add chopped boiled potatoes, onion, tomato, green chilli, garlic, and boiled split red lentils , Mix with red chilli powder, black pepper powder, and salt , Mash well , Add breadcrumbs , Place a little all purpose flour in a plate for coating the burger , Shape the potato lentil mixture into a patty , Coat it with the flour and fry it in boiling oil , In a separate pan, toast the burger bun with butter , Thinly slice the tomato and the onion , Grease the bun with the mint chutney , Add the fried patty and sliced tomato and onion , Serve with tomato sauce.
