- Semolina- 1cup
- Curd - 1/2 cup
- Mustard seeds 1tsp
- Green chilli 2-3
- Cumin seeds 1tsp
- Red chilli powder 1tsp
- Temrind powder 1/4 tsp
- Coriander powder 1/2 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Green coriander chutney
- Sweet sour mango powder chutney
- Chopped onion
- Boiled potato
- Baking soda 1/2 tsp
- Asophofotida 1 pinch
- In a bowl make a batter with semolina,curd and water .
- Keep aside for 15 min.
- In a fry pan splutter mustard seed in a hot 2 tsp oil .
- Add cumin seed , asofotida, chopped green chilli and ginger paste.
- Saute for a min , then add rava batter making flowing constituency .
- Grease idli moulds then put rava batter stuffed with boiled masala potato .
- Fully cover the stuffing with rava batte.
- Steam the idlies for 20 min .
- Cool down idlies for half hour .
- Cut the idlies in quate.
- In a serving plate put six to seven pieces of idlies , spread sweet whipped curd .
- Sprinkle masala like red chilli powder , rock salt , cumin powder and chat masala .
- Spread green sweet sour chutney.
- Again cover with sweet curd .
- Garnish with finely chopped onions , green coriander and fine namkeen sev.
