INGREDIENTS

  • 10 dried red chillies
  • 2 tbsp coriander seeds
  • 1 tbsp black peppercorns
  • 2 - 3 tbsp grated coconut
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 onion
  • 1 tsp ginger paste
  • 1 tsp garlic paste
  • 1 tomato
  • 500 gm minced mutton
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • salt
  • 2 - 3 curry leaves
  • 10 gm coriander leaves
  • 1 - 2 green chillies
  • 1 tsp coconut pieces
  • 1 egg
  • For dosa
  • dosa batter
  • curry leaves

  • red chilli
  • 1 tbsp ghee

PREPARATION

    Blend dried red chillies, coriander seeds, black peppercorns, grated coconut into a smooth paste.

    Heat oil in a pan, add chopped onion, ginger and garlice paste and saute.
  3. 3

    Add chopped tomato, masala paste, minced mutton, garam masala, chilli powder, salt and cook.

    Transfer the cooked mixture to a bowl. Add chopped coriander, chillies, curry leaves, coconut pieces, egg and mix well.

    Spread dosa batter on a hot pan. Spread the mutton mixture, curry leaves, coconut pieces, red chillies on the dosa and cook.

    Flip the dosa, add ghee and cook from the other side. Madurai Kari dosa is ready to serve.
