INGREDIENTS

  • 750 grams rohu fish
  • Salt as per taste
  • Turmeric powder
  • 4 tbsp mustard oil
  • 150 gm cauliflower
  • 1 potato
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 2 tbsp onion paste
  • 1 tbsp ginger - garlic paste
  • 1/2 tsp cumin powder
  • 3 green chilli
  • 1/2 cup curd
  • 1 tbsp raisin paste
  • 50 grams peas
  • For garnish: Coriander leaves

HOW TO PREPARE MACHER KALIA

  1. 1

    In a plate, add rohu fish, salt as per taste, turmeric powder and mix it On a heated pan, add mustard oil and sear fry the fish Add the fried fish on a plate.

    In the same pan, add cauliflower, potatoes and half fry it Add the vegetables in a plate.
  3. 3

    In a heated pan, add oil, cumin seeds, onion paste and saute Add ginger - garlic paste, water and stir it Add turmeric powder, cumin powder, green chilli, water and mix it.

    Add curd and keep stirring it until it starts to boil Add salt as per taste and mix Add raisin paste and mix it Add fried vegetables and toss it.
  5. 5

    Add water and let it boil Add fish, green chillies, peas and cook it Garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
