Mac n Cheese Spring Roll

  • 1 tbsp corn, boiled and mashed
  • ½ cup macaroni, boiled
  • 1 tsp mixed herbs, crushed black pepper
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, grated
  • ½ cup Cheddar cheese, grated
  • 3-4 spring roll sheets, Refined flour batter, as required, Salt to taste, Oil for frying
  • FOR bechamel sauce
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp Refined flour
  • Milkas required
  • FOR garnish
  • Red and yellow bell pepperjulienned
  • Parsley sprig
  • Spring onion stalk

    Heat a stew pan and add butter, flour and milk.
  2. 2

    Let the mixture become thick.
  3. 3

    Set aside in a bowl for cooling.
  4. 4

    Once cooled, add the mashed corn, boiled macaroni, mixed herbs, salt, crushed black pepper, grated Mozzarella cheese and grated cheddar cheese.

    Mix them all.
  6. 6

    Fill the spring roll sheets with the prepared mixture and fold them tightly.
  7. 7

    Finally seal the ends by applying some refined flour batter.

    Heat oil in a pan and deep fry the spring rolls.

    Set aside on a tissue paper.
  10. 10

    Cut the crispy spring rolls into half and serve with the bechamel sauce.

    Garnish the bechamel sauce with a sprig of parsley.
  12. 12

    Garnish the spring rolls with the julienned bell peppers and a spring onion stalk.
