INGREDIENTS

  • 250 g macaroni
  • 40 g butter
  • 40 g plain flour
  • 600 ml milk
  • 1/4 cup Basil leaves, chopped
  • 250 g Cheddar cheese
  • 50 g Parmesan cheese

HOW TO PREPARE MAC AND CHEESE

    In a non-stick pan, add macaroni and cook it for 8-10 minutes.

    Melt butter in a saucepan.
  3. 3

    Add plain flour to form a roux.
  4. 4

    Then, add milk, chopped basil and cook it for 10-15 minutes.

    Transfer the mixture into a bowl.

    Add cheddar cheese, parmesan cheese and the boiled macaroni into the mixture.

    Mix them well.

    Transfer the mixture into a baking tray.

    Sprinkle cheddar cheese and parmesan cheese over it.

    Pre-heat the oven to 180�C and bake it for 10-15 minutes.
