INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup soaked lentils
  • 300 gm diced pumpkin
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp chopped garlic
  • ½ cup sliced onion
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • ½ tsp red chilli powder
  • water
  • mint sprig

HOW TO PREPARE LENTIL & PUMPKIN SOUP

    Pour a little oil in a cooker and heat it.

    Sauté? chopped garlic.
  3. 3

    When the garlic colour changes add sliced onion.
  4. 4

    Add cumin powder, garam masala, turmeric powder and red chilli powder.
  5. 5

    Add soaked lentils and diced pumpkin to this masala and mix.
  6. 6

    Pour a little water in this and mix again.
  7. 7

    Pressure cook it for three to four whistles.
  8. 8

    After the whistles, when the pressure inside goes completely, grind the mixture in a blender.
  9. 9

    Transfer the soup to a bowl.
  10. 10

    Garnish it with a mint sprig.
