  • For Lentil & Pumpkin Soup: 1 Cup Lentils
  • 300 gm Pumpkin
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp Garlic
  • ½ Cup Onion
  • 1 tsp Cumin powder
  • 1 tsp Garam Masala
  • 1 tsp Turmeric powder
  • ½ tsp Red Chilli powder
  • Water
  • Mint sprig

    Procedure to make Lentil & Pumpkin Soup: In a pressure cooker, heat some oil.

    Saute chopped garlic.
  3. 3

    When the garlic changes colour, add sliced onion.
  4. 4

    Add cumin powder, garam masala, turmeric powder and red chilli powder.
  5. 5

    Add soaked lentils and diced pumpkin to this masala and mix.
  6. 6

    Pour some water and mix again.
  7. 7

    Pressure cook it for 3-4 whistles.
  8. 8

    Blend the cooked mixture into a smooth puree.
  9. 9

    Transfer the soup to a bowl.
  10. 10

    Garnish it with a mint sprig.
  11. 11

    Lentil & Pumpkin Soup is ready to serve.
