Lemon Yogurt Cake
A lovely, tangy lemon cake with yogurt gives a wonderful taste.

  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • ½ cup Curd
  • ½ cup refined flour
  • 1 tsp pandanus essence
  • 1 to 2 tsp lemon juice
  • Lemon zest
  • Heart shaped toppings
  • sugar
  • Lemon slices

    Take an egg in a bowl.
  2. 2

    Add a pinch of baking powder and beat well.
  3. 3

    In another bowl, pour a little oil.
  4. 4

    Add sugar yogurt, and refined flour.
  5. 5

    Beat well.
  6. 6

    Combine the egg mix with this and beat once again.
  7. 7

    Add pandanus essence, lemon juice, and lemon zest.

    Mix well and make the batter for the cake.

    Pour the cake batter in a baking mould.
  10. 10

    Bake in a pre heated oven for 10 min at 200 C.

    When the cake is baked, transfer to a serving plate.

    Garnish the cake with some heart shaped toppings.

    Sprinkle some sugar on the top.

    Place some lemon slices on the plate to make the cake more appealing.
