  • For the corn starch mix
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tsp corn starch
  • For the sauce
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • salt
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg grated
  • 2 tsp corn starch mix
  • 1 tsp butter
  • 1 tsp lemon zest grated
  • 2 tsp lemon juice

PREPARATION

    For corn starch mix: In a small bowl, add water and corn starch. Mix them well and keep it aside.

    For the sauce: In a saucepan. Add water, sugar and salt.

    Mix them well and bring it to a boil.

    Add grated nutmeg and the prepared corn starch mix.

    Stir until the mixture becomes thick.

    Add butter grated lemon zest and lemon juice.

    Mix them well and simmer for 4 to 5 minutes.

    Your lemon sauce is ready.
