INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup yellow moong dal
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 2-3 garlic
  • 1 cup onions
  • 1 cup tomatoes
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala powder
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 cup spinach
  • 1-2 green chilies
  • 1 cup Water, Salt as required
  • 1 tsp lemon juice

HOW TO PREPARE LASOON PALAK DAL

    In a pressure cooker, take moong dal and add some water.

    Cook for 7-8 mins.
  3. 3

    Take a saucepan, add oil, cumin seeds, crushed garlic, chopped onions and tomatoes.

    Saut� it.
  5. 5

    Add turmeric powder, garam masala powder and red chilli powder.
  6. 6

    Saut� the ingredients well.
  7. 7

    Add chopped spinach and green chilies.
  8. 8

    Saut� well.
  9. 9

    Pour the cooked moong dal into the saucepan, mix well and add water.

    Add salt as required, pour some lemon juice and cook it for 4-5 mins.

    Lasoon Palak Dal is ready to be served.
