INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup soaked moong dal
  • 2 tbsp soaked chana dal
  • salt
  • oil for frying
  • 2 - 3 cup tamrind water
  • 1 cup yoghurt
  • water
  • For plating imli wale bhalle
  • mint chutney
  • grated radish
  • red chilli powder
  • black pepper powder
  • For plating dahi wale bhalle
  • yoghurt
  • tamarind chutney
  • red chilli powder
  • roasted cumin powder
  • coriander leaves

PREPARATION

    Grind the soaked moong dal and chana dal into a paste. Add salt to the paste and mix well.

    Drop spoonful batter in hot oil and fry the vadas. Transfer some fried bhallas in a bowl of tamrind water.
  3. 3

    Mix yoghurt, water and salt in a bowl and put soak fried bhallas in it.
  4. 4

    Transfer the bhallas from the tamrind water to a serving plate. Pour mint chutney, grated radish, red chilli powder, black pepper powder on the bhallas and serve.

    Transfer the bhallas from the curd mixture to a serving plate. Pour curd, tamarind chutney, red chilli powder, roasted cumin powder and coriander leaves on the bhallas.
  6. 6

    Lakhanpur ke Bhalle are ready to serve.
