  • 1 cup Whole Red Lentils
  • 1 cup Steamed Rice
  • 100 gms Chickpeas
  • 1 Onion
  • 4 tsp Garlic
  • 1 cup Macaroni Pasta
  • 1 cup Tomato Puree
  • 2 tbsp Vinegar
  • 2 tsp Sugar
  • 2 tsp Chilli Powder
  • 1 tsp All Spice Powder
  • 1 Lemon
  • To Taste Salt
  • To Taste Crushed Black Pepper
  • As Needed Water
  • As Needed Oil
  • 1 tbsp Processed Cheese. For Garnish:{Fried Onions
  • Lemon Wedge
  • Fresh Parsley Sprigs}

    In a pan add boiled lentils and toss it with steamed rice, Add salt and black pepper to the mix.

    In another pan warm oil and sauté 2 tsp finely chopped garlic,1 chopped onion and add boiled macaroni, salt, crushed black pepper and water.

    In a sauce pan warm oil and add 2 tsp chopped garlic, 1 cup fresh tomato puree, 2 tbsp of vinegar, salt to taste, 2 tsp of sugar, 1 tsp chilli powder and reduce the sauce to thick consistency.

    In a bowl add boiled chickpeas,1 tsp chilli powder, 1 tsp all spice powder, salt to taste, squeeze ½ lemon juice and mix well.

    Cream the processed cheese in a bowl, add crushed fried onions and squeeze little lemon juice and mix together.

    For Serving ,In a deep plate spoon rice lentils mix, followed by macaroni, pour tomato sauce over pasta, spiced chickpeas and garnish with fried onions, lemon wedge, fresh parsley sprigs and dollops of processed cheese fried onion mixture.
