  • 1/4 cup boiled chana dal
  • 2 - 3 green chillies
  • 1/2 cup grated coconut
  • 1 onion
  • 10 - 20 gm coriander leaves
  • 5 boiled potatoes
  • salt
  • 1 tsp ghee
  • water, salt and red chilli mixture
  • bread crumbs
  • oil for frying
  • pudina chutney
  • tamrind chutney
  • grated coconut

    In a bowl, mix boiled chana dal, chopped green chillies, onion, grated coconut, coriander leaves and salt.

    In another bowl, mash the potatoes, add ghee and salt and mix.

    Make small balls using the potato mixture and stuff them with the coconut filling.

    Coat the patties with water, salt and red chilli mixture. Coat with bread crumbs and deep fry in oil. Kopra patties is ready to serve.
