INGREDIENTS

  • For bread
  • 200 gm all purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp soaked yeast
  • 4 tbsp orange juice
  • 2 tbsp cherry liqueur
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 cup milk
  • 6 to 8 candied orange skin
  • 6 to 8 candied cherries
  • ½ cup whipped cream
  • For solution
  • 2 tbsp orange juice
  • 2 tbsp cherry liqueur
  • 1 tbsp castor sugar
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

PREPARATION

    In a bowl all purpose flour, soaked yeast, orange juice, cherry liqueur, brown sugar, butter and mix until crumb consistency.

    Pour milk and knead the dough.
  3. 3

    Keep the dough to rest.
  4. 4

    Dust all purpose flour on it and cut out centre.
  5. 5

    Shape the dough with hands.
  6. 6

    Roll out remaining dough and cut strips.
  7. 7

    Brush milk on strips and bread, stick the strips dough, stick candied orange and preserved cherries.
  8. 8

    Bake for 18 to 20 minutes at 180 C, slice bread, Add dollops of cream in that centre.

    In a bowl add orange juice, cherry liqueur, castor sugar, olive oil and mix well.
  10. 10

    Pour over bread, serve with candied orange and cherries.
