This king bread with cream is glazed with candied orange and cherries.

INGREDIENTS

  • FOR Bread
  • 200 gms All Purpose Flour
  • 1 tbsp Soaked Yeast
  • 4 tbsp Orange juice
  • 2 tbsp Cherry Liqueur
  • 2 tbsp Brown Sugar
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 6 to 8 Candied Orange skin
  • 6 to 8 Candied Cherries
  • ½ cup Whipped cream
  • FOR Solution
  • 2 tbsp Orange juice
  • 2 tbsp Cherry Liqueur
  • 1 tbsp Castor Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil

HOW TO PREPARE KING BREAD

  1. 1

    In a bowl All Purpose Flour, Soaked Yeast, Orange juice, Cherry Liqueur, Brown Sugar, Butter and mix until crumb consistency.

    Pour milk and knead the dough.
  3. 3

    Keep the dough to rest.
  4. 4

    Dust all Purpose Flour on it and cut out centre.
  5. 5

    Shape the dough with hands.
  6. 6

    Roll out remaining dough and cut strips.
  7. 7

    Brush milk on strips and bread.
  8. 8

    Stick the strips dough.
  9. 9

    Stick Candied Orange and preserved Cherries.
  10. 10

    bake for 18 to 20 minutes at 180 C.
  11. 11

    Slice bread.
  12. 12

    Add dolops of cream in tha centre.
  13. 13

    In a bowl add Orange juice, Cherry Liqueur, Castor Sugar, Olive Oil and mix wall.
  14. 14

    Pour over bread.
  15. 15

    Serve with Candied Orange and Cherries.
