INGREDIENTS

  • For Kheema Pulav: 2 cups rice
  • water
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 2 tbsp ghee
  • 3 cinnaman sticks
  • 7 cloves
  • 6 green cardamoms
  • 3 chopped onions
  • ½ tsp ginger paste
  • 1 tsp garlic paste
  • ½ tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tbsp coriande powder
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 500 gm minced meat
  • salt
  • 3 chopped tomatoes
  • ½ cup yogurt
  • water
  • 4 green chillies
  • chopped coriander
  • 4 tbsp saffron milk
  • 2 tbsp ghee
  • mint leaves

HOW TO PREPARE KHEEMA PULAV

  1. 1

    Procedure to make Kheema Pulav: In a bowl add basmati rice, water and let it soak.
  2. 2

    In a heated pan add oil, ghee, cinnamon sticks, cloves, cardamoms and leave it.
  3. 3

    Add chopped onions, ginger - garlic paste, turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chilli powder and mix it well.
  4. 4

    Add minced meat, salt, chopped tomatoes and mix it up.
  5. 5

    Add yoghurt, water and let it soak.
  6. 6

    Add whole green chillies, freshly chopped coriander leaves and let it cook.
  7. 7

    In a pan add cooked kheema, rice, saffron milk, melted ghee and let it cook.
  8. 8

    To garnish add mint leaves and Kheema Pulav is ready to serve.
