INGREDIENTS

  • 1 kg mutton mince
  • salt
  • 2 tbsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tbsp garlic paste
  • 1 tbsp ginger paste
  • 5 - 6 ghee
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 2 black cardamoms
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 6 - 8 cloves
  • 10 - 12 black peppercorns
  • 1 tbsp cumin seeds
  • 3 onions
  • 1 tbsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 3 tomatoes
  • 1 cup green peas
  • water
  • 2 - 3 green chillies
  • mint leaves
  • coriander leaves
  • 1 tsp meat masala
  • paratha
  • onion
  • lemon

PREPARATION

    Marinate the mutton mince with salt, red chili powder, garlic and ginger paste and set aside.

    Heat ghee in a pan and add bay leaf, cinnamon stick, black cardamom, cloves, black peppercorns, cumin seeds and saute.

    Add chopped onions, coriander powder, cumin powder, red chili powder, salt, turmeric, tomatoes and saute.

    Add minced meat, ghee and saute on low heat.

    Add green peas, water, green chillies, mint leaves, coriander leaves, meat masala and cook thouroughly.

    Serve the keema with paratha, onion and lemon wedge.
