Kanak Kheer

Kheer is a popular dessert in India. You must have eaten rice kheer a lot, but here Chef Ranveer Brar presents the recipe for a different kheer, Kanak Kheer or Wheat Kheer. This coarsely textured wheat pudding garnished with loads of dry fruits is an exquisite delight.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup roasted wheat
  • 1 cup ghee
  • water as required
  • 2-3 cardamoms
  • ½ litre milk
  • ½ cup jaggery powder
  • 2 tbsp ghee
  • wheat grains

HOW TO PREPARE KANAK KHEER

    Heat ghee in a pot and roast the wheat grains
  2. 2

    Then add water, cardamoms and milk
  3. 3

    Add jaggery powder and let it cook till the mixture thickens. Kanak Kheer is ready to serve
