Kale Til Ke Laddu

Laddus made from white sesame seeds are popular in India. But here Chef Ajay Chopra shares the recipe of Kale Til Ke Laddu, i.e. laddus made with black sesame seeds. The black sesame seeds mixed with jaggery offer a unique flavour which makes it unique from other foods.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup jaggery
  • 2-4 tbsp water
  • 1 cup black sesame
  • 2 tbsp ghee
  • FOR garnish
  • Rose petals

HOW TO PREPARE KALE TIL KE LADDU

  1. 1

    In a pan, add jaggery, water and let it melt. Add black sesame, ghee and mix it well.
  2. 2

    Grease a plate with ghee. Add the sesame mixture and let it cool down.
  3. 3

    Apply water on palm and make laddu of the mixture. Garnish with rose petals and serve.
