INGREDIENTS

  • 1/2 Cup Pumpkin
  • 1 French Beans
  • 1/2 cup Cluster beans
  • 1/2 cup Gawaar Falli
  • 1 Orange Carrots
  • 1 Potato
  • 1 Brinjal
  • 1/2 Cup Turdal
  • 1/2 Cup Rice
  • 1/2 tsp Channa Dal
  • 1/2 tsp Fenugreek Seeds
  • 1/2 Coriander Seeds
  • 1 to 2 Dry Red Chillies
  • Few Curry Leaves
  • 1/2 tsp Coriander Powder
  • 1 tsp Sambhar Masala
  • water

PREPARATION

    Wash and cook ½ cup Tur dal in 2 cups water and 1 tsp turmeric. Wash 1 cup rice and cook it in a pan. Heat a pan, and add 1 tsp oil, add 1 tsp chana dal, ½ tsp fenugreek seeds, 1 tsp coriander seeds, 2-3 dry red chillies, 4-5 curry leaves and mix well. Add 1 cup diced pumpkin, 4-5 French beans, 4-5 cluster beans, 1 diced brinjal, 1 diced carrot, 1 diced potato and sauté. Add 1 tsp asafoetida, 1 tsp coriander powder, 1 tsp sambhar masala and sauté well. Add 1 tbsp tamarind water and mix well. Add some water and simmer. Strain the cooked rice and dal and add to the vegetables and mix well. Serve the rice with pappadams and garnish with coriander. Kadhamba Saadham is ready.
