Jhangore Ki Kheer
A simple kheer made using Jhangora, a form of rice commonly found in Himalayan region.

  • 200 gms Jhangora
  • water as needed
  • 1 lt milk
  • 2 tbsp suga
  • 1 tbsp ghee
  • 20 gms cashew nuts
  • 20 gms chirongi
  • 20 gms raisins

    Soak jhangora for 1 hour in water, In pan add milk and sugar to thicken.

    deep fry cashew nuts, chirangi and raisins in ghee, strain water from jhangora and add to the milk and mix well, add fried dry nuts, cardoman powder and stir well garnish jhangora kher with fried dry nuts.
