INGREDIENTS

  • 2 to 3 Green Chillies
  • 1 Tomato
  • 1 Cucumber
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 Boiled Potato
  • 1/4 cup Soaked Black Chickpea
  • 2 to 3 tbsp Roasted Peanuts
  • 2 tbsp Grated Coconut
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 1/2 tsp Roasted Cumin Powder
  • 1 Pinch Chaat Masala
  • 2 tbsp Chopped Coriander
  • Black Salt
  • 1 Slice Watermelon
  • 2 to 3 tbsp Apple Vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 cup Hung Curd Filling
  • 1/2 cup Puffed Rice
  • 1/4 cup Sev
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 2 to 3 tbsp Mustard Oil

PREPARATION

    Chop 2-3 green chillies, 1 tomato, 1 cucumber, 1 onion, 1 boiled potato and add them into a mixing bowl. Add 1/4 cup soaked black chickpea, 2-3 tbsp roasted peanuts, 2-3 tbsp grated coconut, 1 tbsp lemon juice, 1/2 tsp roasted cumin powder, 1 pinch chaat masala, 2 tbsp chopped coriander, 1 pinch black salt to the bowl and mix well. Slice a watermelon. In a bowl, add 2-3 tbsp apple vinegar, 1 tbsp sugar and 2 slices of watermelon. After marinating the watermelon slices, place 1 tbsp hung curd on a watermelon slice and cover it with the other slice like a sandwich and keep aside. Add 1/2 cup puffed rice, 1/4 cup sev, 1 tbsp lemon juice, 2-3 tbsp mustard oil to the mixing bowl and mix well. Make a banana leaf cone and fill it with Jhaalmoori. Serve it with the watermelon sandwich and garnish it with mint leaves and grated coconut.
