  • 1 tbsp chopped ginger
  • ½ chopped onion
  • 1 tbsp herb oil
  • 1 tsp chopped green chillies
  • 1 tsp chopped garlic
  • ½ cup milk
  • salt to taste
  • 1 cup Semolina roasted
  • 1 cup red millet soaked
  • 50 gm grated cheese
  • oil
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp oil
  • ½ sliced onion
  • 1 chopped Tomato
  • Few curry leaves
  • salt
  • cup Sweet corn kernels
  • Crushed black pepper
  • ½ cup shrimps
  • Shrimp salad
  • Coriander sprig

HOW TO PREPARE ITALIAN-STYLE UPMA

    In a pan heat herb oil and add garlic, ginger, onion, milk, roasted semolina, soaked red millet, and cheese.

    Mix well.

    In a baking dish, drizzle oil and spread the red millet mixture.
  4. 4

    Refrigerate the mixture to set.
  5. 5

    Cut the set red millet mixture into pieces.

    In a pan, heat oil and cook the pieces on both sides.

    For shrimp salad, heat oil in a pan.
  8. 8

    Add curry leaves chopped onion, tomato, salt, sweet corn kernels, black pepper powder, and shrimps.

    Toss.

    Serve upma with shrimp salad.

    Garnish with coriander leaves.
