INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup poha
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 chopped Tomato
  • 4 to 5 black olives
  • halved
  • 4 to 5 half chopped green olives
  • chopped parsley
  • olive oil as required
  • 1 tbsp chilli flakes
  • 1 cup Sprouts
  • ½ lemon
  • juiced
  • black pepper to taste
  • salt to taste
  • For Garnish: Parsley
  • For Serving: Melon and mint smoothie

HOW TO PREPARE INTERNATIONAL STYLE POHA

  1. 1

    Wash the poha and strain the water.
  2. 2

    Finely chop the onion, tomato, black olives, green olives and parsley.
  3. 3

    Heat a little olive oil in a pan.
  4. 4

    Saute chopped onion.
  5. 5

    Add chilli flakes to this.
  6. 6

    Add some sprouts and toss it well.
  7. 7

    Add chopped tomato a little salt, black pepper, and finally the black and green chopped olives.

    Mix well.

    Add the poha into this mixture.
  10. 10

    To give a fresh look to this poha add some more chopped parsley.

    Sprinkle some lemon juice.

    Toss it again to give a good mix.

    Transfer the poha to a serving plate.
  14. 14

    Garnish it with a parsley and serve with melon and mint smoothie.
