  • 5 to 6 idlis cubed skewer sticks; 1 tsp oil; For Marinade :1 tsp red chilli paste; 2 tsp oil; 1 ½ tsp ginger paste; ½ tsp honey; 1 tsp tomato ketchup; ½ cup mixed bell pepper and onion cubed; 2 tsp chopped coriander; 2 tsp spring onion greens chopped; Crushed black pepper to taste; salt to taste

    Cut the idlis into small cubes.

    ; Mix the chopped idlis with red chilli paste, oil, ginger paste, honey, tomato sauce, crushed black pepper, and salt.

    ; Add chopped mixed bell peppers and onion cubes chopped coriander, and chopped spring onion greens.

    ; Mix gently and set aside.

    ; On the skewer sticks, arrange the idlis and vegetables (onions and bell peppers).

    ; Heat oil in a pan and sear the idlis shashliks.

    ; Serve the idlis on the skewer sticks on a banana leaf.
