INGREDIENTS

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup refined flour
  • 1/4 cup sweet potato
  • boiled
  • 1 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 1 tsp Nutmeg
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1/2 cup walnuts
  • 2 tsp honey
  • Icing sugar for dusting

HOW TO PREPARE HONEY SWEET POTATO COOKIE

    For the cookies: Blend butter eggs and honey in a tall glass and keep it aside.

    In a mixing bowl, add refined flour, mashed sweet potato (boil and mash the potatoes), cinnamon powder, nutmeg, baking powder, chopped raisins and chopped walnuts.

    Pour the blended concoction from the glass into the mixing bowl.
  4. 4

    Make sure to mix all the ingredients well.
  5. 5

    Now transfer this mixture into a small bowl and refrigerate it for 15 minutes, till it sets.

    Break the mixture into small rough shaped balls.
  7. 7

    Place these balls on a baking tray and press them lightly.

    With the help of a fork design and decorate the cookie as per your liking.

    Preheat the oven at 180 to 200'C.

    Bake the cookies for 12 to 15 minutes.

    Once the cookies are out of the oven top them off with icing sugar.

    For the strawberry milkshake: In a juicer, blend strawberries and milk.
  13. 13

    Transfer the strawberry milkshake into a small glass and top it off with the cookie.
