INGREDIENTS

  • 1 rohu fish
  • 2 tbsp mustard oil
  • 2 bay leaves
  • pink salt as per taste
  • 1/4 cup chopped onions
  • 1/2 cup chopped nakupi leaves
  • 1/2 tbsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tbsp chopped ginger
  • 3 - 4 dry red chillies
  • 1 tsp maru marang spice
  • 2 cups mustard leaves
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 heribob

PREPARATION

    In a heated pan, add mustard oil and let it heat. Season the fish with pink salt as per taste and fry it in the pan.

    In another pan, add mustard oil and let it heat. Add bay leaves, finely chopped onions, nakupi leaves and let it cook until the onions turn golden.

    Add turmeric powder, chopped ginger, dry red chillies and saute. Add pink salt as per taste and mix it. Add the fried fish pieces.

    Add maru marang spice and toss it. Add mustard leaves, water and let it cook. Add heribob and let it cook.

    Serve it hot with rice.
