INGREDIENTS

  • 1 1/2 cup semolina
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 1 tbsp chopped onion
  • 2 tbsp chopped carrots
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 cup curd
  • 1 tsp oil
  • mustard seeds
  • curry leaves
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds

PREPARATION

    In a bowl, add semolina, baking powder, turmeric powder, chopped onion.

    Add chopped carrots, chopped capsicum, red chilli powder and mix it well.

    Add curd and mix it well.

    Add water and mix again.

    In a heated pan, add oil, mustard seeds, handwa mixture cover with a lid and steam for 5 - 10 minutes. Add curry leaves for tempering.

    Let it cook from both the sides until it turns golden brown.
  7. 7

    Cut it into slices and serve.
