INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup Bengal gram flour
  • 3 tbsp green peas, boiled and mashed
  • 1½ tbsp green pea paste
  • ½ cup yoghurt
  • a pinch of eating soda
  • salt, to taste
  • 5 to 6 red grapes, shelved
  • 3 to 4 cherry tomatoes, shelved
  • 2 green chillies, finely chopped
  • 4 black olives
  • 1 tsp pine nuts
  • khatti meethi chutney (optional)
  • mint leaves, for garnish

HOW TO PREPARE GREEN PEAS DHOKLA

    For the dhokla batter, combine the Bengal gram flour, boiled and mashed green peas, green pea paste, yoghurt, baking (eating) soda, and salt in a mixing bowl.

    Mix well.

    Pour the batter in idli moulds and steam.

    Unmould the green peas dhokla.
  5. 5

    For salad, mix halved red grapes, cherry tomatoes, chopped green chillies, and salt.

    Arrange the salad on one side of the serving plate.

    Top the salad with black olives and pine nuts.

    Brush the khatti meethi chutney on dhoklas.
