Green Chilli Crab Fritters
These crunchy, spicy dumplings ? with a tamarind dip ? make for a great evening snack.

INGREDIENTS

  • 9-10 crab sticks
  • 1 green chilli, chopped
  • 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tsp all ground spices
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 cup gram flour
  • 1½ tbsp rice flour, Water as required
  • FOR garnish
  • mint sauce
  • fresh mint leaves
  • 1Lemon wedge
  • red chilli powder

HOW TO PREPARE GREEN CHILLI CRAB FRITTERS

    Fine-chop the crab sticks.
  2. 2

    Place them in a bowl.
  3. 3

    Add the chopped green chilli, ginger-garlic paste, all-ground spices, turmeric powder, cumin powder, baking soda, red chilli powder, gram flour, and rice flour.

    Mash the mixture; add water and prepare a dough.
  5. 5

    Make smooth balls from the dough.
  6. 6

    Heat oil and deep fry the balls till they become crispy and golden.
  7. 7

    Arrange the dish with mint sauce.
  8. 8

    Garnish with fresh mint leaves and lemon wedge.
  9. 9

    Sprinkle red chilli powder over the fritters.
