  • FOR the tarts
  • Doughkneaded
  • ¼ cup red kidney beans
  • FOR the salad
  • 8-10cherry tomatoes
  • 1 green bell pepper
  • 1red bell pepper
  • 1yellow bell pepper
  • ½Onionfinely chopped
  • 8-10 lettuce leaves
  • 2 tbsp feta cheese
  • FOR the lemon dressing
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1½ tbsp onions chopped
  • crushed black pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • 4 tbsp Olive oil
  • FOR garnish
  • 2 green olives
  • 2 Cucumber slices
  • feta cheese

    Roll out a small lump of the kneaded dough.
  2. 2

    Place it in a tart mould and press the sides.
  3. 3

    Trim the sides and prick the remaining with a fork.
  4. 4

    Add red kidney beans to the mould and bake them in a pre-heated oven at 180 C for 7 ? 8 minutes.

    Set aside the tarts allowing them to cool down for 5 ? 7 minutes.

    Remove the beans and the tarts from the mould.

    For the salad, cut the cherry tomatoes into halves.
  8. 8

    Slice the green bell pepper, red bell pepper, and yellow bell pepper.
  9. 9

    Add lettuce leaves and finely chopped onions and other vegetables to a bowl and mix.

    Add feta cheese to the mixture.
  11. 11

    For the lemon dressing, add lemon juice, chopped onions, crushed black pepper, and salt in a bowl.

    Add olive oil and whisk.
  13. 13

    Avoid using extra dressing as it makes the salad oily.

    To the prepared salad, add the dressing (as required) and mix.

    []Place the tart base on the serving plate.

    Add lettuce and other vegetables to it.
  17. 17

    Garnish with green olives, cucumber slices, and feta cheese.
