INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup curd
  • ½ cup hung curd
  • 10-12 curry leaves
  • 2-3 green chillies
  • 1 onion
  • ½ piece of ginger
  • salt to taste
  • ½ tsp asafoetida
  • 1 tsp semolina
  • 1 tbsp grated coconut
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 1-2 tbsp rice flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • oil for frying
  • coconut chutney

PREPARATION

    To make Goli Bajji, add curd and hunged curd (tanga hua dahi) in a bowl.

    Cut the curry leaves, green chillies, onions and ginger and grind them with help of a blender, mix it in the curd.

    Now add salt, asafoetida, semolina, grated coconut, white flour, rice flour and sweet soda to the curd and whisk it and leave it for 2 to 3 minutes.

    Now make balls from the mixture and fry it in the oil.

    Serve the dish with coconut chutney.
