INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup of soaked rice
  • 1 tsp active yeast
  • 1 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 1/4 cup lukewarm water
  • 1/2 fresh grated coconut
  • olive oil

PREPARATION

    In a bowl, add active yeast, sugar, lukewarm water, mix it well and leave it to dissolve.

    In a blender jar, add soaked rice, grated coconut, sugar and prepare a smooth batter. Remove the batter in a bowl, add the activated yeast and set it aside for 4 hours.

    Grease the bowl with olive oil. Add the batter in the bowl. Add the bowl in the steamer and steam it for 10 - 12 minutes.

    Let it cool for 2 - 4 minutes. Unmould the Sanna and serve with green & red chutney.
