- 1 cup of soaked rice
- 1 tsp active yeast
- 1 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1/4 cup lukewarm water
- 1/2 fresh grated coconut
- olive oil
- In a bowl, add active yeast, sugar, lukewarm water, mix it well and leave it to dissolve.
- In a blender jar, add soaked rice, grated coconut, sugar and prepare a smooth batter. Remove the batter in a bowl, add the activated yeast and set it aside for 4 hours.
- Grease the bowl with olive oil. Add the batter in the bowl. Add the bowl in the steamer and steam it for 10 - 12 minutes.
- Let it cool for 2 - 4 minutes. Unmould the Sanna and serve with green & red chutney.
