INGREDIENTS

  • 1 tbsp fresh yeast
  • salt
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • lukewarm water
  • 2 cups refined flour
  • ½ tsp rock salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 2 tsp soft butter
  • 1 tbsp thyme
  • 2 - 3 tbsp
  • 1 tsp chilli flakes
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • refined flour to dust

PREPARATION

    In a bowl mix fresh yeast, salt, sugar, lukewarm water and set aside.

    In another bowl, mix refined flour, rock salt, sugar, soft butter, chopped thyme, chopped garlic, chilli flakes, olive oil, yeast mixture and lukewarm water to make a dough.

    Proof the dough for 45 minutes. Bake the proofed bread dough for 20 - 30 minutes in pre heated oven at 150'C.

    Garnish the bread with thyme, chilli flakes and olive oil and serve hot.
