INGREDIENTS

  • 1 tbsp butter; 2 bay leaves; 2 to 3 tbsp finely chopped onions; 1 cup carrots; sliced; 1 tbsp refined flour; Crushed black pepper as required; Fresh cream as required; salt to taste; water;For Garnish: Fresh cream; coriander leaves

HOW TO PREPARE GAJJAR KA SOUP

    Heat a pan and add butter bay leaves, and finely chopped onions.

    ; Saute till onions turn transparent.

    ; Add chopped garlic and sliced carrots.
  4. 4

    ; Cook until the carrots are soft.

    ; Add refined flour and water.

    ; Make a puree.

    ; Put off the flame and allow the mixture to cool and then blend in a mixer.

    ; Heat another pan and pour the blended puree.
  9. 9

    ; Add water salt, crushed black pepper, and fresh cream.

    ; Stir and cook.

    ; Serve the soup hot in a serving bowl, and garnish with fresh cream and coriander leaves.
