INGREDIENTS

  • 3 tsp clarified butter; 1 cup grated carrots; 4 tbsp sugar; ½ cup; ½ tsp saffron water; ½ tsp powdered cardamom; 1 tsp mixed dry fruits (cashew nuts; pistas and almonds); crushed; For Garnish: Mixed dry fruits;crushed

HOW TO PREPARE GAJJAR KA HALWA

    Melt clarified butter in a pan.

    ; Add grated carrots and saute well.

    ; Add sugar and mix well.
  4. 4

    ; Add the condensed milk solids and cook till it mixes into the halwa completely.

    ; Add saffron water, cardamom powder, and crushed dry fruits.

    ; Mix well with the halwa and turn off the flame.

    ; Transfer the halwa to a bowl and then invert this into another plate to serve your halwa.

    ; Garnish with crushed dry fruits.
