INGREDIENTS

  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 2 to 3 tbsp finely chopped onions
  • 1 cup carrots
  • sliced
  • 1 tbsp refined flour
  • Crushed black pepper as required
  • Fresh cream as required
  • salt to taste
  • water
  • For Garnish: Fresh cream
  • coriander leaves

HOW TO PREPARE GAJAR KA SOUP

    Heat a pan and add butter bay leaves, and finely chopped onions.

    Saute till onions turn transparent.
  3. 3

    Add chopped garlic and sliced carrots.
  4. 4

    Cook until the carrots are soft.
  5. 5

    Add refined flour and water.
  6. 6

    Make a puree.
  7. 7

    Put off the flame and allow the mixture to cool and then blend in a mixer.
  8. 8

    Heat another pan and pour the blended puree.
  9. 9

    Add water salt, crushed black pepper, and fresh cream.
  10. 10

    Stir and cook.
  11. 11

    Serve the soup hot in a serving bowl, and garnish with fresh cream and coriander leaves.
