INGREDIENTS

  • 1/2 L milk
  • 2 tablespoon custard powder
  • 2 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 apple
  • 2 small cup pomegranate
  • 1 small cut blood orange (malta)/mandarin/orange
  • 1 tablespoon water

PREPARATION

    In a vessel put 1/2 L milk and heat till it boils and lower the flame after boiling. In a small bowl add the custard powder in the water and mix it well (avoid lumps). Add the custard mixture to the vessel and stir it till thickens. Add the sugar and mix it well. Keep the custard outside to let it come down till room temperature. Put the custard in a fancy bowl/cup and for 1/2-1 hr. After taking out the custard from the refrigerator, cut the apple in THICK round slice and with the help of a knife and cut in a way to form sharp edged petals and place it on top of the custard. Add some pomegranates on the quirky shaped apple. Cut a small piece of blood orange /mandarin and put it on the edge of the cup/bowl (like a lemon wedge). (You can alter the shape and types of fruits according to your choice and dust it with icing sugar as wel.
