INGREDIENTS

  • 1 apple
  • 1 pear
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 star anise
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 vanilla pod
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp orange juice fresh
  • salt
  • 1 cup refined flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 200 gm butter
  • orange zest for flavour
  • Icing sugar

HOW TO PREPARE FRUIT CRUMBLE

  1. 1

    Chop an apple and pear melt butter in pan and add star anise, cinnamon stick, vanilla pod, brown sugar, fresh orange juice, salt and chopped fruits and cook well on a low flame.

    Add some orange zest and turn off the flame.
  3. 3

    To prepare the topping, mix refined flour, sugar, butter and blend it in a mixer.
  4. 4

    Spoon the crumble mixture over the prepared fruit.
  5. 5

    Bake it in a pre heated oven at 180 C.
  6. 6

    Dust some icing sugar for garnish when baked.
