  • 1 apple
  • 1 pear
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 star anise
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 vanilla pod
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp orange juice fresh
  • salt
  • 1 cup refined flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 200 gm butter
  • orange zest for flavour
  • Icing sugar

    Chop an apple and pear melt butter in pan and add star anise, cinnamon stick, vanilla pod, brown sugar, fresh orange juice, salt and chopped fruits and cook well on a low flame. Add some orange zest and turn off the flame. To prepare the topping, mix refined flour, sugar, butter and blend it in a mixer. Spoon the crumble mixture over the prepared fruit. Bake it in a pre heated oven at 180 C. Dust some icing sugar for garnish when baked.
