INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup refined flour
  • 1 tsp yeast
  • water
  • salt
  • ½ tsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion diced
  • ½ cup mixed bell peppers
  • ½ cup black and green olives
  • ½ cup Jalapenos
  • ½ tsp oregano leaves
  • refined flour for dusting
  • oil for greasing
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder

HOW TO PREPARE FOCACCIA

    In a bowl mix refined flour with yeast, sugar, salt, and water.
  2. 2

    Knead a dough and keep aside.
  3. 3

    In a pan, heat olive oil and add diced onion, bell peppers, black and green olives, jalapenos, and oregano leaves.
  4. 4

    Saute well.
  5. 5

    Dust refined flour on the kitchen platform and flatten the dough.
  6. 6

    Spread half portion of the cooked vegetables on the dough and fold it from all sides.
  7. 7

    Grease the bread/cake tin with oil and place the folded dough.
  8. 8

    Top the dough with the remaining vegetables and bake for 25 min at 200 C in an oven pre heated at 180 C for 10 min.

    Slice the baked focaccia and transfer to a serving plate.
