  • FOR Fisherman's Basket
  • 1 white fish fillet
  • 6 prawns
  • Cracked black pepper
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp Refined flour
  • Oil
  • salt
  • 1 cup Refined flour
  • 1 cup corn flour
  • ½ cup tin beer
  • salt
  • FOR The Mayonnaise Sauce
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • Few chive sprigs
  • 1 tsp tabasco sauce
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • Chives

    For the fisherman's basket cut the white fish fillet into strips.
  2. 2

    Straighten the prawns by discarding veins.
  3. 3

    Marinate the strips of fish and prawns with salt cracked black pepper, and lemon juice.

    For the batter, mix refined flour, corn flour, salt, and tin beer.
  5. 5

    Mix well and rest the batter for 5 10 minutes.
  6. 6

    Transfer the fish fillet strips and the prawns to a bowl and sprinkle refined flour.

    Mix well.

    Heat oil in a pot for frying.

    Dip the prawns and fish fillet strips in the prepared batter and deep fry.

    Set aside in a plate.

    For the sauce, add chopped chives, Tabasco sauce, and lemon juice in the mayonnaise cup.

    Mix well.

    Serve the fisherman's basket with the mayonnaise sauce.

    Garnish with chives.
