  • 3 tbsp whole wheat flour
  • gram flour
  • 2 tsp carom seeds
  • asafoetida
  • 2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  • pink salt as per taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1/2 tsp green chilli paste
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1 cup french beans
  • 1 tsp jaggery
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup cherry tomatoes
  • For garnish
  • coriander leaves
  • desiccated coconut

    In a bowl, add whole wheat flour, gram flour, a pinch of carom seeds, a pinch of asafoetida, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, pink salt as per taste and mix it well.

    Add water, olive oil and prepare a dough. Make small balls of the dough, flatten it and press it from the centre. In a heated pan, add olive oil, carom seeds and let it splutter.

    Add ginger-garlic paste, green chilli paste, water as required and let it cook. Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder and stir it.

    Add water in the pan and let it boil. Add the dhokli and let it cook for 5 - 6 minutes. Add french beans, jaggery and mix it well. Add lemon juice, pink salt as per taste and let it boil.

    Add chopped cherry tomatoes and mix it well. Garnish with desiccated coconut, coriander leaves and serve.
