INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup soaked chickpeas
  • 1/2 cup capsicum
  • ½ cup spring onion greens
  • ¼ cup coriander
  • 1 tbsp garlic
  • A few mint leaves
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 3 tbsp tahini sauce
  • Lemon zest a pinch
  • black pepper powder
  • salt
  • oil for frying

HOW TO PREPARE FALAFEL

    Blend the soaked chickpeas with chopped spring onion greens capsicum, coriander, garlic, mint leaves, black pepper powder, cumin powder, cinnamon powder, tahini sauce, and salt to make a paste and transfer to a bowl.

    Add lemon zest to this mixture.

    Mix well.

    Shape the falafel with hands and deep fry.
  5. 5

    Once fried, drain the excess oil and then transfer falafel to a serving plate and serve hot.
