  • 1 cup soaked chickpeas
  • 1/2 cup capsicum
  • ½ cup spring onion greens
  • ¼ cup coriander
  • 1 tbsp garlic
  • mint leaves
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 3 tbsp tahini sauce
  • Lemon zest a pinch
  • black pepper powder
  • salt
  • oil for frying

    Blend the soaked chickpeas with chopped spring onion greens, capsicum, coriander, garlic, mint leaves, black pepper powder, cumin powder, cinnamon powder, tahini sauce, and salt to make a paste and transfer to a bowl.

    Add lemon zest to this mixture and mix well.

    Shape the falafel with hands and deep fry. Once fried, drain the excess oil and then transfer falafel to a serving plate and serve hot.
