INGREDIENTS

  • 1 basa fish
  • salt
  • Crushed black pepper
  • ½ cup chopped snake gourd
  • ¼ cup chopped runner beans chopped
  • 4 5 surti papadi
  • 3 to 4 chopped spring onions
  • 4 to 5 chopped mushrooms
  • ½ tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 cup chopped boiled sweet potato
  • 7 to 8 Mint leaves
  • 2 tbsp Yogurt
  • ½ tbsp lemon juice
  • Few cherry tomatoes
  • Coriander sprigs

HOW TO PREPARE DUM KI MAACHI

    Marinate basa fish with salt and black pepper powder.
  2. 2

    In a bowl, mix chopped snake gourd, runner beans, surti papadi, spring onions, mushrooms, salt, red chilli powder, black pepper powder, boiled sweet potato, mint leaves, and yogurt.

    Mix well.
  4. 4

    On a pyrex tray, transfer the vegetable mixture.
  5. 5

    Place the marinated fish on it and drizzle lemon juice.
  6. 6

    Bake in a pre heated oven at 180 C for 7 to 10 minutes.
  7. 7

    (depending on size of fish) Once baked, crush cherry tomatoes on the fish.
  8. 8

    Garnish dum Ki maachi with coriander sprigs.
